For more than twenty years, I have been very fortunate to have worked with some of the best companies in the agricultural and hardware marketplace. In that time, I have gained a great deal of respect for the industry and the people in it. I have also witnessed some of the greatest changes the industry has ever seen.

 

As the industry continues to mature and evolve, I felt that the time had come for a professional representative organization, national in scope and intensely focused on “hard Ag” products for the Canadian marketplace. In July of 2007, I formed Red Minnow Ag Products Inc to address this need.  

 

The name Red Minnow comes from my agricultural background. In the dairy industry, all farmers have a prefix that they use to name any cattle born on their farms. My father’s prefix was Auburndale (Red) and my father’s in law prefix was Minnow Creek. I thought it was fitting to utilize some of this personal agricultural history to represent my future path in the farm product business.
